July 3 – The data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C. are investigating the Affirm data breach that was reported after the company was affected by a recent cyber security attack at Evolve Bank & Trust. The Affirm data breach resulted in the sensitive information of certain individuals being compromised.

What Happened?

According to website notices, the Affirm data breach was reported after they were affected by a recent cyber security attack at Evolve Bank & Trust who is the issuing partner for the Affirm Card. Evolve Bank discovered that a group of hackers claimed to have accessed the company’s IT network. An investigation was launched that is still ongoing. Affirm will need to send out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach if it is confirmed.
