May 11 – The data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C. are investigating the Bridgeway Center data breach that was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cyber security attack. It is believed to have impacted as many as 65,386 individuals. The Bridgeway Center data breach resulted in the below information of certain individuals being compromised:

  • names,
  • Social Security numbers,
  • driver’s license numbers,
  • military identification numbers,
  • dates of birth,
  • and medical information

What Happened?

According to the Attorney General of Maine, the Bridgeway Center data breach was reported after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. On February 22, 2024, the company detected suspicious activity within its computer network prompting an investigation. It was confirmed that an unauthorized party had been able to access its network between February 21, 2024 and February 23, 2024. On May 8, 2024, Bridgeway Center sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
