May 31 – The Onix Group, LLC data breach is being investigated by the data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C. The data breach was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cybersecurity attack. The data breach resulted in the names, Social Security numbers, and dates of birth, as well as scheduling, billing, and clinical information of certain individuals being compromised. It is believed to have impacted as many as 319,500 individuals.
According to a press release posted on PR Newswire by the company, Onix Group reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent ransomware attack. An unauthorized party was able to gain access portions of the company’s computer network and removed files containing confidential information between March 20, 2023 and March 27, 2023. On May 26, 2023, Onix Group, LLC sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach on behalf of Addiction Recovery Systems, Cadia Healthcare, Physician’s Mobile X-Ray, and Onix Hospitality Group.
