Data Breach AlertJune 6, 2022 – Rainier Arms, LLC reported a data breach after the company was targeted in a recent cybersecurity attack. As a result of the breach, the name or other personal identifier in combination with: Financial Account Number or Credit/Debit Card Number (in combination with security code, access code, password or PIN for the account) of certain individuals was compromised. The Rainier Arms data breach is believed to have impacted as many as 46319 individuals. On June 2, 2022, Rainier Arms sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.

We are writing to inform you of an incident that may have involved some of your information. We are providing this notice to explain the incident and measures we have taken, and also to provide some steps you can take in response.

What Happened?

In December of 2021, we received reports of unauthorized payment card activity involving customers who had recently made a purchase on our website at [Redacted]. Upon discovery, we immediately began an investigation and engaged an outside firm to perform a forensic review of our website. On April 21, 2022, our investigation identified malicious code designed to capture information entered into our website, including payment card information.

What Information Was Involved?

The investigation determined that an unauthorized party may have accessed payment card information entered onto our website between June 1, 2021, and January 19, 2022. We reviewed the transactions from our website and determined that you made one

or more purchases on the site during that time period. The information that was accessible includes your name and your credit or debit card number(s) ending in [Redacted].

What Are We Doing?

In response to the incident, we have taken steps to help prevent a similar incident in the future including updating user passwords and implementing additional security safeguards and controls on our website.

We encourage you to remain vigilant by reviewing your account statements and credit reports for any unauthorized activity. If you see charges or activity you did not authorize, please contact the relevant financial institution or credit bureau reporting the activity immediately.
