Dear [Redacted],
Weller Truck Parts (“Weller”) is writing to make you aware of an incident that may have impacted the security of some of your information. We want to provide you with information about the incident, our response, and steps you may take to better protect against possible misuse of your personal information, should you feel it appropriate to do so.
What Happened?
On October 7, 2021, Weller became aware of a malware incident impacting certain company systems. We promptly worked to restore our systems and began a comprehensive investigation to determine the nature and scope of the incident. While our investigation could not confirm precisely what information was affected, we determined that certain information may have been accessed on or copied from our system as part of the cyber incident between October 1, 2021 to October 7, 2021. Therefore, we began a thorough review of all potentially affected data to determine the type of information present and to whom it related. We received the results of the review in early April and then worked diligently to reconcile this information with our internal records until May 23, 2022 so we could notify potentially impacted individuals.
What Information Was Involved?
Our review to date indicates that the potentially affected information includes your [Redacted], and name.

As a precautionary measure, we are notifying potentially affected individuals, including you, so that you may take further steps to best protect your personal information, should you feel it is appropriate to do so. As an added precaution, Weller is offering you access to twelve (12) months of credit monitoring and identity protection services through Experian at no cost to you.
