According to the Attorney General of Vermont, FlexCare reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent cybersecurity attack. On October 9, 2024, FlexCare detected suspicious activity in an employee’s email account. The company immediately secured the account and launched an investigation to determine the extent of the incident and whether consumer information was compromised.
The investigation confirmed that an unauthorized party had accessed the email account, including certain emails and attachments containing confidential consumer information.
On March 5, 2025, FlexCare sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
FlexCare, LLC is a digital health provider offering telemedicine, teledentistry, behavioral health, dermatology, and virtual primary care services through a cloud-based platform accessible via phone, video, or app.
The company also operates FlexCare Medical Staffing, a healthcare staffing agency specializing in travel nursing, therapy, and allied healthcare placements. Headquartered in Roseville, California, FlexCare employs approximately 500 people and generates $210 million in annual revenue.
