We’ve had our main office near Marlton, New Jersey for more than 25 years and we think it’s a great community. This small community of just over 10,000 residents is centrally located in the heart of South Jersey.
If you’re looking for a getaway, Philadelphia, New York City, and the Jersey Shore are all within day-trip distance. But you don’t have to travel far to find something to do. In addition to having some of the best restaurants in the area, there’s a lot to do just miles from our Marlton office. Here are some of our favorites:
Thanks to its proximity to several major highways, Marlton and the surrounding communities have several shopping centers. From national brands to hometown favorites, you can find almost everything you need.
Distance from Marlton office: 0.4 miles
Greentree Square is just a quick drive across Route 73 from our main office. This shopping center includes the AMC Theater, Whole Foods, and several local favorites including a Jersey Mike’s, Fantastic Sam’s, and Saladworks.
Distance from Marlton office: 1.3 miles
Marlton Crossing is home to several national chains, including Burlington Coat Factory, Home Goods, DSW, and TJ Maxx. The shopping center also includes several places to eat, including Five Guys and Chickie and Petes, two local favorites.
Distance from Marlton office: 2.5 miles
If you’re looking for some of today’s hottest brands, you can’t miss The Promenade. Located just a short trip down Route 73, this shopping center boasts both fine dining and luxury stores. Top shops include Vera Bradley, LL Bean, Sur La Table, and White House Black Market.
In addition to the stores, the center holds special events throughout the year, including donation drives, concerts, and seasonal events.

Drive a few miles north on 73, and you’ll soon see signs for the Moorestown Mall. With 74 stores, Moorestown Mall is just over half the size of the Cherry Hill Mall, but it’s surrounded by several other shopping centers, a movie theater, and some of our firm’s favorite dining spots.

The Cherry Hill Mall always has something going on. With more than 140 shops and restaurants, the mall is the perfect place to go, even if you’re not sure what you want. Depending on traffic, the drive can feel further than 7 miles, but once you’re there you won’t have to worry about driving somewhere else for dinner.

Each challenge is laid out like a mission, and you’re racing against the clock to prevent war, plague, or some other global catastrophe.
The Escape Room Challenge in Marlton has three different challenges going at any given time. When associates from our Malton office went, we were retracing the steps of an international spy, trying to recover secret data before your enemies find you.

The Forgotten Boardwalk opened in 2014, becoming one of the area’s youngest microbreweries. While larger companies focus on creating a line of staple beers, Forgotten Boardwalk has a rotating tap of experimental beers for their patrons to try. Their taproom feels like you’re at the Jersey shore, with skeeball and other classic arcade games tucked into every corner and tables made out of wooden spools. If you can’t take a trip to the shore, this boardwalk is a welcome alternative.

If you’re looking to play a few rounds of traditional golf, Ramblewood Country Club is just a short trip up Route 73. During golf season, the course is open to the public, just be sure to reserve your place online before you go. After spending some time on the green, you can relax at the Seven Tap-Tavern, which boasts a full menu.

Flying Fish is one of several brewers that call South Jersey home. Known for their creatively named beers, the brewery also features a taproom and regular tours so you can see how your favorite beverage is made.

TopGolf is a new way to experience golf. This driving range features more than 100 climate-controlled hitting areas, open year-round. In addition to the driving ranges, the complex boasts several bars and a restaurant that will bring you refreshments while you play. Each booth can accommodate up to six players, making it the perfect place to spend an afternoon or evening with your friends.

Cedar Run is a sprawling nature preserve of more than 171 acres of protected Pinelands. In addition to a nature center that boasts more than 60 local animals, visitors can enjoy the preserve on one of its many hikeable trails.
You don’t have to cross the bridge into Philly to experience history. Instead, visit one of the many landmarks that are located just minutes from our Marlton office.

The Marlton Tavern is a little piece of local history. Originally built in 1898, the building used to be the home of Clayton Brick, one of the area’s wealthiest residents. Located on the original main street, the Lavdas family restored the building in 1998 and converted it into a tavern for locals and tourists alike.

Jacob’s Chapel is among the oldest places of worship in the area and one of the first churches in the African Methodist Episcopal (AME) denomination. During the early 19th century the church also acted as a stop on the underground railroad, helping former slaves escape to freedom before the civil war and the emancipation proclamation. The church still gathers to worship, and those interested in learning more about this important piece of history can contact the foundation to ask about scheduling a tour.

As one of the leaders of the campaign for the nineteenth amendment that gave women the right to vote, Alice Paul left her mark on American history. In addition to her tireless campaign for the constitutional amendment, Ms. Paul was also instrumental in making women a protected class in the civil rights act of 1964. Today, her childhood home houses the Alice Paul Institute, where you can learn more about her life and accomplishments.
