Attorney Michael E. Ellery knows how insurance adjusters and defense attorneys think – because he started out his career in these roles. Today, he exclusively represents injured people as an integral part of our firm.
Find out more about Mr. Ellery’s legal experience and the results he has achieved for his clients – and how he could help you as your injury attorney.
In 1995, Mr. Ellery earned his Juris Doctor degree from the Widener University School of Law. For more than 15 years, he would handle both plaintiff work – on behalf of the people bringing a legal claim – and defense work, on behalf of the people being sued.
In March 2008 Mr. Ellery began representing plaintiffs exclusively.
His firsthand knowledge of the insurance industry and his history of defense work have proven to be valuable assets to our firm.
Because Mr. Ellery knows how insurance companies operate and the tactics their defense attorneys use to delay, deny, and attempt to decrease the value of claims.
He knows how to thwart these efforts to ensure our clients from getting the money they deserve. He does not permit insurance adjusters and defense attorneys to stoop to deceptive tricks, which helps him get his clients their settlements.
After being an insurance adjuster out of college, and then a mixture of defense and plaintiff work for years, focusing on plaintiff personal injury cases was a “natural progression.”
“It’s way more satisfying to have a direct impact on people’s lives and to work with regular people, rather than working for insurance companies. Doing well for our clients – individuals injured in accidents – is a better place to be, in my opinion.”

“Mike and Lorraine were wonderful. They kept us informed every step of the way and we were very happy with the outcome. I hope we never need to use them again because the accident was horrible but if god forbid we do we would use them again. They fight for you every step of the way!!! Very professional friendly staff…thanks so much!!!!”
“My brother recommended Mike Ellery from [Console and Associates]*, and I am so glad he did. Mike was efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. Working with his paralegal, Lorraine, was awesome, too. They were both available whenever I had questions, and were great with staying in touch. It was a long process, from the time of my car accident to receiving my settlement check, but I feel like [Console and Associates]* was there for me every step of the way!”
