August 18 – The Bailey Cavalieri LLC data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C are investigating the data breach that was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cyber security attack. The Bailey Cavalieri data breach resulted in the names, Social Security numbers, driver’s license or state identification numbers, dates of birth, payment card information, financial account information, health insurance and medical information, taxpayer identification numbers, system access login credentials, and passport numbers of certain individuals being compromised. It is believed to have impacted as many as 203,000 individuals.
According to the Attorney General of Maine, Bailey Cavalieri reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. On December 13, 2022, Bailey Cavalieri detected suspicious activity within its computer network. The company launched an investigation that confirmed that an unauthorized party was able to access the company’s computer network between November 22, 2022 and December 13, 2022. It was later determined that some of the files that were accessible to the unauthorized party contained confidential consumer information. On August 17, 2023, Bailey Cavalieri sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
