May 23, 2023 – The data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C. are investigating a data breach that affected Pathward, N.A. (“Pathward”). The data breach was reported by NCB Management Services, Inc. on May 19, 2023.

What Happened and What Information Was Involved?

According to the Maine Attorney General, NCB Management Services, Inc. reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack.

NCB Management Services provides account services to Pathward N.A. On February 4, 2023, NCB discovered that an unauthorized party had gained access to the company’s computer system days earlier on February 1, 2023. They launched an investigation into the incident to determine which consumers were impacted and what information may have been compromised.

As a result of the data breach, the names, Social Security numbers and financial account information of certain individuals was compromised.

NCB Management Services, Inc. sent out data breach notification letters on behalf of Pathward, N.A. to those individuals whose information was affected by the data breach.
