October 30 – The Resort Data Processing, Inc. (“RDP”) data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C are investigating the data breach that was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cyber security attack. The Resort Data Processing data breach resulted in the names, mailing addresses, email addresses, and credit card information of certain individuals being compromised. It is believed to have impacted as many as 61,500 individuals.
According to the Attorney General of Maine, Resort Data Processing reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. On August 21, 2023, RDP learned of a SQL injection vulnerability which allowed an unauthorized third party to redirect payment card information from in-process transactions on our RDP’s clients’ on-premises Internet Reservation Module (“IRM”) servers. The company installed a security patch and then launched an investigation which confirmed that an 
unauthorized party was able to access the confidential information of certain consumers who stayed at resorts that do business with RDP, including:
On October 27, 2023, Resort Data Processing sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
