October 19 – The Wishbone Medical (“Wishbone”) data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C are investigating the data breach that was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cyber security attack. The Wishbone Medical data breach resulted in the sensitive information of certain individuals being compromised.
According to the Attorney General of Vermont, Wishbone Medical reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. On March 2, 2023, Wishbone learned that several employee email accounts may have been accessed by an unauthorized party. The company secured its email environment and then launched an investigation which confirmed that several employee 
email accounts had been accessed by an unauthorized party. It was also determined that the affected accounts contained confidential consumer information. On October 13, 2023, Wishbone Medical sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
Wishbone Medical is a medical device manufacturer based out of Warsaw, Indiana that specializes in providing single-use, sterile-packed procedure kits to surgeons and their patients. Some of the company’s products include Prima, Smart Correction, WishFix, PediGuard, IowaBrace, AlloMate, K-Wire, Clavicle and StraightFibula.
