November 28 – The ZeroedIn Technologies, LLC data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C are investigating the data breach that was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cyber security attack. The ZeroedIn Technologies data breach resulted in the names, dates of birth and Social Security numbers of certain individuals being compromised. It is believed to have impacted as many as 1,977,486 individuals.
According to the Attorney General of Maine, ZeroedIn Technologies reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. On August 23, 2023, ZeroedIn detected suspicious activity within its computer network. The company secured its systems and launched an investigation that confirmed that an unauthorized party gained access to its computer network on August 7, 2023. The period of unauthorized access lasted until August 8, 2023. On November 27, 2023, ZeroedIn Technologies sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
ZeroedIn noted that the incident affected Dollar Tree and Family Dollar, which is one of the company’s customers.
