July 19 – The Henry Ford Health System data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C are investigating the data breach that was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cyber security attack. The Henry Ford Health System data breach resulted in the names, genders, dates of birth, ages, lab results, telephone number, and protected health information of certain individuals being compromised. It is believed to have impacted as many as 168,000 individuals.
According to a notice posted on their website, Henry Ford Health System reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. On March 30, 2023, Henry Ford Health learned that some of the company’s employees were victims of a targeted email phishing campaign. The company launched an investigation determined that, on May 16, 2023, certain patients’ protected health information could have been accessed by an unauthorized party. On July 18, 2023, Henry Ford Health System sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
