Data Breach AlertSeptember 12 – The Limestone Bank data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C. are investigating the data breach that was reported after the Limestone Bank was targeted in a recent cyber security attack. The Limestone Bank data breach resulted in the names, Social Security numbers, and financial accounts of certain individuals being compromised. It is believed to have impacted as many as 47k individuals.

What Happened As A Result Of The Limestone Bank  Data Breach?

According to the Attorney General of Maine, Limestone Bank reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent cyber attack. The Limestone Bank investigation confirmed that unauthorized access occurred between November 21, 2022, and March 23, 2023. Subsequently, Limestone Bank determined that the leaks included confidential consumer information.

After learning that a hacker stole sensitive consumer data, Limestone Bank reviewed the compromised files to determine what information was leaked and which consumers were impacted. While the breached information varies depending on the individual, it may include your name, Social Security number, and financial account numbers.

On September 15th, Limestone Bank sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
