Our personal injury attorneys have been handling car accident lawsuits for decades, and will ensure you every step of the way.
Collisions involving large trucks can be highly traumatic—and deadly. Approximately 10% of auto accident injury victims in a large truck collision are killed. Large trucks are also much more likely to be involved in multi vehicle crashes than passenger cars. According to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, over 53,000 large trucks were involved in auto crash injuries in 2015, with over 4,000 of these injuries fatal. If you or a loved one has been injured in a trucking accident, our attorneys will see that you get the compensation you deserve.
Motorcycle accidents tend to result in serious injuries that lead to debilitating pain, lost wages and overwhelming medical bills that can leave you feeling trapped. Let us help you regain your freedom and get your life back. If you’ve been injured in a motorcycle accident, we’ll fight for your rights and help you get the compensation you deserve under the law.
If you or your loved one has been involved in a bus accident, you might be entitled to compensation for undue pain and suffering, lost wages, and medical bills that you now face. Even if you are not physically injured in a bus accident, you might need help coping with the psychological trauma in the aftermath. When death occurs, the driver responsible might also face criminal charges for wrongful death. Our attorneys offer knowledgeable legal counsel and representation. We’ll fight for your rights, and help you get the settlement you deserve under the law.
Bike accidents are devastating, but they are often unavoidable. Even when you follow all the rules of the road, or are an experienced cyclist, you’re still at the mercy of the other vehicles around you and their reckless operators. Let us take a look at your bike accident report with our team of specialists and get to the bottom of how your accident occurred. Our bike accident attorneys want you to get the maximum compensation for your injuries, and will find out exactly what coverage applies to your situation—even if it was a hit and run.
Victims of fires and burn injuries are often left with scars, both physical and psychological, as they struggle with life-altering pain, lost wages and massive medical bills. When your burn injuries are the result of someone else’s negligence, such as a landlord not following fire codes, you may be entitled to compensation under the law.
While the number of car accident deaths is falling nationwide, pedestrian fatalities are on the rise. According to the Governors Highway Safety Association (GHSA), in the past decade, car crash fatalities decreased by 14%, but pedestrian deaths have increased by a whopping 27%. If you or a loved one have been hit by a car and the driver is found to be at fault, they are responsible for the damages caused by their carelessness. This is one reason New Jersey requires that all drivers buy car insurance. We will get you the settlement you deserve from that policy when we file a personal injury claim on your behalf.
Fleeing the scene of an accident, also known as “hit and run”, is a crime in New Jersey. The perpetrator can face criminal consequences (such as jail time) and civil consequences (like a personal injury lawsuit). While it’s possible to file a lawsuit against the perpetrator of a hit and run accident, whether or not it will be successful depends on a variety of factors. The most important decision you must make when pursuing a hit and run accident claim is choosing an experienced lawyer who will be on your side. We’ve won hundreds of thousands of dollars in compensation for hit and run victims in situations just like yours.
If you’re seriously injured on the premises of a store or business due to their negligence, they may be held responsible for your injuries. If they are, they will have to pay for the damages they caused after you’ve filed a premises liability claim. Reach out to us to find out more about what this entails, and how our premises liability attorneys can help you get the settlement you deserve.
If you’re suffering from a slip and fall injury that occurred on someone else’s property, you might be entitled to compensation. There are many dangerous conditions that can result in a person slipping or tripping, including poor lighting, torn carpeting, narrow stairs, or unexpected changes in flooring. Broken, cracked, icy or snowy public sidewalks can also result in slips and falls, as can hidden hazards such as potholes. When your injuries have been caused by someone else’s negligence, you need a slip and fall attorney who cares about both your physical and financial recovery.
Construction can be a dangerous line of work, and construction workers put their safety—and their lives—on the line every day. Every year, hundreds of construction workers are killed on the job, and many more suffer serious injuries due to unsafe or unexpected conditions. Companies in New Jersey are required by law to pay the medical bills for employees injured at work. Sometimes, however, your employer isn’t responsible for your injuries. Faulty equipment or careless vendors can also be held responsible for accidents that result in life-threatening injuries. If your work injury was caused by someone else’s negligence, you might be entitled to compensation. To find out if you are owed compensation from negligent medical professionals for your child’s birth injury, reach out to us today for a consultation.

There’s no way to know whether you have a strong personal injury case without speaking with an attorney. Many factors go into each claim, and your case has its nuances that strengthen or weaken your argument.
That being said, three primary factors go into a personal injury claim:
While these three criteria might seem basic, proving them in a claim can be difficult. It helps to have a Marlton attorney on your side who can navigate the legal process and make sure you are compensated for the other party’s carelessness.
Your accident took a real toll on your mental and physical health, and that is difficult to put a dollar value on. Pain and suffering is the legal definition for these intangible damages. Your attorney will propose a pain and suffering amount that your insurance company will either agree to or counter. Our attorneys understand that the impact your injuries had on your life is more than what your medical bills can show. We will fight
People often ask why they need a personal injury attorney and wonder if they can represent themselves in mediation or court without one. Countless people every year decline representation and work to handle their cases pro se, or for themselves.
But filing a successful personal injury claim requires understanding what your rights are under New Jersey and federal law. The insurance company you’re submitting the complaint against has a team of attorneys whose sole job is to keep you from winning your claim. They know the law better than almost anyone. Finding the information you need to resolve your complaint is possible, but it’s not easy.
A personal injury attorney like those at Console and Associates have years of experience studying and navigating the law. We work within the court system every day, giving us insight into how to recover your damages. Just like you would rely on an expert to conduct brain surgery or fly a plane, trust a professional to help you navigate this complex legal system. We take care of your claim so you can focus on what’s important: getting better.
On average, people working with a personal injury attorney received a settlement that is 3.5x larger (Insurance Research Council “Attorney involvement in auto injury claims,” 2014) than if they had filed a claim on their own. That’s more money you can use to get the treatment you need, make up lost wages, or help you manage your pain and suffering. When you’re filing a claim on your own or with an inexperienced attorney, the insurance company might try to pressure you into settling for less than what you need. We don’t let that happen.
Our attorneys work on a contingency fee basis, which means we are not paid by the hour. Instead, we receive a percentage of your court settlement, but only if you win. We understand that our clients are already struggling with their medical bills, so we are on your side. A contingency fee aligns our goals with yours; we want to get you the most money possible for your case. We won’t brush you off or make you feel less important like an attorney who requires an hourly fee would. Once we successfully resolve your claim, we’ll take a percentage of your settlement as our fee. If we cannot resolve your claim, you don’t owe us anything, and we’ll cover all court costs. Period.
Yes, you can settle a personal injury claim without an attorney. However, you have to ask yourself if it is worth the effort and if you can get the best payout possible.
If you are working with your insurance company or a private corporation to receive compensation for an accident, then you may be able to work with these entities individually. However, the goal of insurance companies, private businesses, and even individual homeowners is to pay you the smallest amount possible. They don’t have your best interests in mind and are only focused on the funds. Even your own insurance company might pressure you for a quick settlement, not because it’s in your best interest but because it’s in theirs.
Hiring an attorney increases your knowledge base and gives you an ally to help you get the compensation you deserve. Your attorney knows how to work with insurance companies and can draft a settlement plan that makes sure you are fully covered. When companies and private parties ignore your calls, they have the legal power to get their attention. Plus, with your attorney doing the work, you can focus on recovery and returning your life to normal.
Every case is different. Some claims will reach mediation and settle within a few weeks, while other cases take more than a year before they’re completed.
In general, the more extensive your injuries and treatment, the longer the process can take since insurance companies will want to avoid paying for your damages. While we’ll always try and settle your claim quickly, we’ll take the insurance company to court if that’s what it takes to get you the settlement you deserve.
If you want to move your case forward quickly, contact a personal injury attorney shortly after the accident. The sooner you start the process, the sooner it can wrap up.
As your law firm, we represent you on a contingency fee basis and only get paid after we resolve your claim. This means that we receive a portion of the settlement. However, we don’t accept our fee until after all liens are paid.
When you’re seriously injured, you don’t have time to wait for your claim to settle before you seek treatment. Instead, your insurance can cover these costs. However, when you resolve your claim, the at-fault party’s insurance compensates you for those medical costs. If you receive a settlement for the bills your insurance company paid, they may place a lien on your settlement to get that money back. Medical liens are always paid first.
In some cases, we’re able to negotiate with your insurance company to reduce their lien. This ensures that you get as much of your settlement as possible.
If you have medical bills that you have to pay after your settlement, these are typically paid after your claim is disbursed and we receive our payment. However, we work with our clients to negotiate these bills whenever possible.

Marlton got its name in the 19th century, when valuable marl clay was first unearthed in the local soil. This discovery gave a major boost to the local economy, which led to a housing boom. The marl was mined and shipped by rail to Atlantic City, Burlington City, and Philadelphia until 1930.
Though the days of clay have long since passed, today Marlton is widely regarded as one of the best places to live in New Jersey, with a highly rated school system, plenty of green space, a thriving cultural scene, and a bevy of local eateries.
