According to the Attorney General of Maine, Regional Family Medicine reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. On June 26, 2023, the company experienced an IT outage, preventing access to certain systems. This prompted Regional Family to launch an investigation confirming that an unauthorized party was able to access its network between June 8, 2023 and June 26, 2023. The unauthorized party accessed and may have acquired files containing confidential patient information. On December 12, 2023, Regional Family Medicine sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
Regional Family Medicine, formerly Kerr Medical Center, is a primary care practice based in Mountain Home, Arkansas that consists of two clinics in Mountain Home, AR, where providers offer a 
range of primary care services. Regional Family also provides radiology services and performs minor surgeries.
