June 28 – The Activate Healthcare, LLC data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C are investigating the data breach that was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cybersecurity attack. The Activate Healthcare data breach resulted in the names, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, driver’s license numbers, and clinical information, such as provider names, dates of service, and diagnoses of certain individuals being compromised. At this time, it is unclear how many individuals were affected by the breach.
According to a notice posted on their website and the Attorney General of Montana, Activate Healthcare reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. On April 27, 2023, Activate Healthcare’s IT team detected suspicious activity within their computer network. The company launched an investigation and learned that an unauthorized party was able to gain access to its computer system on April 22, 2023 and April 28, 2023. On June 23, 2023, Activate Healthcare sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
