The company learned that an employee was the victim of an email phishing attack prompting them to contain the incident and launch an investigation. It was confirmed that an unauthorized party was able to access the affected email account, including consumer information that was located in various emails and attachments within the email account. On January 12, 2024, Alpha Supported Living Services sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.

living services, group home services, community inclusion services, and representative payee services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
