Information on the breach is still limited but a ransomware gang had previously taken credit for the attack and claimed the attack took place on March 2, 2024 where they were able to obtain roughly 5 TB of data. American Renal Associates will be required to send out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
American Renal Associates provides dialysis services through a network of 250 dialysis centers in 25 states.
