It is believed to have impacted as many as 129,611 individuals. The Americold Logistics data breach resulted in the sensitive information of certain individuals being compromised.
According to the Attorney General of Maine, Americold Logistics reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack on April 26, 2023. The company took the affected systems offline and launched an investigation. The investigation confirmed that an unauthorized party was able to access portions of its computer network, including files containing confidential consumer information. On December 8, 2023, Americold Logistics sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.

controlled warehousing and transportation services, as well as related supply chain and technology solutions. Americold operates 250 warehouses globally, many of which are used by food producers, distributors, and retailers. Americold is publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange, under the symbol “COLD.”
