On July 17, 2023, the company detected suspicious activity within an employee email account prompting the Anixter Center to secure its email environment and launch an investigation. The investigation confirmed on November 14, 2023 that the affected email accounts contained patients’ protected health information. On May 23, 2024, Anixter Center sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
