According to the Attorney General of Massachusetts, the APT Foundation data breach was reported after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. On December 22, 2023, an employee of APT was conducting a test of certain APT systems when they accidentally sent a file containing confidential information to an unknown party. APT Foundation noted that the employee attempted to recall the email but did not indicate if it was successful. The company launched an investigation to confirm what data was compromised. In January 2024, APT Foundation sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.

APT Foundation also offers primary care services to patients, including laboratory procedures, nutrition and exercise education, assistance with smoking cessation, immunizations, and evaluation and treatment of acute conditions. APT also has a team of psychologists, psychiatrists, and clinicians who provide a variety of mental health services.
