According to a notice posted on their website, Ardent Health Services reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent ransomware attack. On November 23, 2023, Ardent Health learned of a technology cyber security incident. The company secured its system and launched an investigation that confirmed that an unauthorized party was able to access and copy documents containing confidential patient information. Shortly after discovering the attack, Ardent Health Services was able to terminate all unauthorized access. On January 24, 2024, Ardent send out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
