July 6 – The ARx Patient Solutions data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C are investigating the data breach that was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cyber security attack. The ARx Patient Solutions data breach resulted in the names, Social Security Numbers, medical information and health insurance information of certain individuals being compromised. It is believed to have impacted as many as 41,166 individuals.
According to the Attorney General of Maine, ARx Patient Solutions reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. ARx learned that an unauthorized party was able to gain access to an employee’s M365 email account. ARx secured their systems and launched an investigation where they were able to confirm that an unauthorized party was able to gain access to confidential information. On June 30, 2023, ARx Patient Solutions sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
