June 23 – The BrightSpring Health Services data breach is being investigated by the data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C. The data breach was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cybersecurity attack. The BrightSpring Health Services data breach resulted in the names and Social Security numbers of certain individuals being compromised. At this time, it is unclear how many individuals were affected by the breach.
According to the Attorney General of Massachusetts, BrightSpring Health Services reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. On March 14, 2023, BrightSpring detected suspicious activity within its computer network. An unauthorized party was able to gain access to the company’s IT network between March 12, 2023 and March 13, 2023. On June 21, 2023, BrightSpring Health Services sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach. From the sample letter posted on the Massachusetts Attorney General’s website, it appears that the breach affected current and or former employees of Arbor E&T, LLC dba Equus Workforce Solutions.
