June 10 – The CareNet Medical Group, PC data breach is being investigated by the data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C. The data breach was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cybersecurity attack. The CareNet Medical Group data breach resulted in the full names, Social Security numbers, addresses, driver’s license numbers, bank account numbers, bank account routing numbers, dates of birth, medical reference numbers, Medicare numbers, cell phone numbers, home phone numbers, health insurance information, and email addresses of certain individuals being compromised.
According to the Attorney General of Vermont and a notice posted on the company’s website, CareNet Medical Group, PC reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. An unauthorized party was able to gain access to the company’s network and remove files between May 9, 2022 and June 4, 2022. On June 2, 2023, CareNet Medical Group sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
