What Happened?

According to the Attorney General of Massachusetts, the CarePro Health Services data breach was reported after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. On November 16, 2023, CarePro experienced a network disruption that impacted the company’s ability to access certain files on its computer network. The company launched an investigation confirming that an unauthorized party accessed and acquired information from the company’s IT network on or around November 14, 2023. It was also determined that some of the files accessible by the unauthorized party contained confidential consumer information. On January 15, 2024, CarePro Health Services sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
