Century Support Services Data Breach Investigation

July 15 – The Century Support Services (“Century”) data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C are investigating the data breach that was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cyber security attack. The Century Support Services data breach resulted in the names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, driver’s license and/or state identification numbers, medical information, health insurance information, passport numbers, financial account information, and digital signatures of certain individuals being compromised. It is believed to have impacted as many as 160,759 individuals.

What Happened As A Result Of The Century Support Services Data Security Incident?

According to a notice filed with the Maine Attorney General’s Office, Century Support Services recently became aware of suspicious activity within its network and quickly launched an internal investigation. Working alongside external cybersecurity experts, on May 30, 2025, Century determined that an unauthorized party had infiltrated its systems on November 7, 2024.

During this time, the intruder accessed files containing confidential consumer information. Upon completing its investigation and reviewing the compromised data, Century began notifying affected individuals. At this time, Century Support Services has not released full details about the nature of the cyberattack, including whether a specific ransomware group was involved.

On June 27, 2025, Century Support Services sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
