June 8 – The CGM, Inc. data breach is being investigated by the data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C. The data breach was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cybersecurity attack. The CGM data breach resulted in the names and driver’s license numbers of certain individuals being compromised. It is believed to have impacted as many as 280,000 individuals.
According to the Attorney General of Maine, CGM reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. An unauthorized party may have gained access to a limited amount of information stored on CGM’s systems between December 15, 2022, and December 28, 2022. On June 7, 2023, CGM, Inc. sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
