Data Breach Alert: Fresh Del Monte Produce, Inc.

May 25 – The data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C. are investigating a data breach reported by Fresh Del Monte Produce, Inc. on May 16, 2023.

What Happened and What Information Was Involved?

According to the Massachusetts Attorney General, Fresh Del Monte Produce, Inc. (“Fresh Del Monte”) reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. On January 13, 2023, Fresh Del Monte learned that portions of its network may have been subject to unauthorized access. They launched an investigation and were able to confirm the cyber security event.

As a result of the breach, the names, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, passport numbers, financial account information and protected health information of certain individuals were compromised.

On May 16, 2023, Fresh Del Monte Produce, Inc. sent out data breach notification letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
