November 16 – The Acrisure data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C are investigating the data breach that was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cyber security attack. The Acrisure data breach resulted in the sensitive information of certain individuals being compromised.

What Happened?

According to the Attorney General of Montana, Acrisure reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. On December 28, 2022, Acrisure detected unusual activity within its computer network. The company notified law enforcement and launched an investigation that confirmed that an unauthorized party was able to access portions of its computer network that contained files storing confidential consumer information. The dates of unauthorized access are believed to have been between December 1, 2022 to January 28, 2023. On November 10, 2023, Acrisure sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
