November 8 – The AvidXchange data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C are investigating the data breach that was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cyber security attack. The AvidXchange data breach resulted in the sensitive information of certain individuals being compromised.
According to the Attorney General of Massachusetts, AvidXchange reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. In April 2023, AvidXchange was conducting routine security monitoring when it detected a cybersecurity incident. The company notified law enforcement, and then launched an investigation that confirmed that an unauthorized party had previously gained access to its network and removed certain files. It was later determined that some of the files that were accessed and extracted contained confidential consumer information. On 
October 13, 2023, AvidXchange sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
