October 31 – The Boeing data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C are investigating the data breach that was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cyber security attack. The Boeing data breach may have resulted in the sensitive information of certain individuals being compromised.
According to an article posted by InfoSecurity Magazine, Boeing may have been the victim of a recent ransomware attack. A representative from LockBit claims that the ransomware group was able to steal a “tremendous amount” of information from Boeing. LockBit also gave Boeing until November 2 to pay an undisclosed ransom. Initially, LockBit indicated that it is not leaking any data, and will give Boeing time to respond. However, they also stated that it will not continue to hold off leaking data if 
Boeing doesn’t cooperate with the group’s demands. Boeing is conducting an investigation into the claims and if they are able to confirm, they will be required to send out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
