Healix filed additional documents with the Attorneys General of Vermont and Texas on December 11, 2023, and December 12, 2023 that provided additional information on the breach. On or around September 12, 2023, Healix Infusion Therapy detected suspicious activity within its computer network and launched an investigation confirming that an unauthorized actor gained access to certain files on its network between September 8 and September 12, 2023. Some of the files were also accessible to the unauthorized party that contained confidential patient information. On December 11, 2023, Healix Infusion Therapy sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
