What Happened?

According to a news article, Lovelace Health System reported a data breach after they were affected by a recent ransomware attack at Ardent Health. On November 23, 2023, Ardent learned about a potential cyber security incident. The company secured its systems and then launched an investigation that is ongoing, and as of November 30, 2023, the company is still working to restore operations. If the investigation confirms that patient information was compromised then Lovelace Health System or Ardent Health will be required to send out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
