November 19 – The Mount Graham Regional Medical Center (“MGRMC”) data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C are investigating the data breach that was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cyber security attack. The Mount Graham Regional Medical Center data breach resulted in the names, Social Security numbers, addresses, email addresses, phone and fax numbers, dates of birth, driver’s license numbers, passport numbers, medical information and financial information of certain individuals being compromised.
According to a notice posted on their website, Mount Graham Regional Medical Center reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent ransomware attack. On September 27, 2023, MGRMC learned that it had been the target of a ransomware attack beginning on approximately September 13, 2023. The company shut down all unauthorized access within four hours of learning of the attack and then launched an investigation confirming that the ransomware attackers were able to access or acquire certain data on its computer network, including files containing confidential patient information. On November 15, 2023, Mount Graham Regional Medical Center sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
