November 24 – The NSC Technologies data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C are investigating the data breach that was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cyber security attack. The NSC Technologies data breach resulted in the names and Social Security numbers of certain individuals being compromised. It is believed to have impacted as many as 48,531 individuals.
According to the Attorney General of Maine, NSC Technologies reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. On June 26, 2023, the company detected suspicious activity within its computer network. They secured its systems and launched an investigation confirming that the company was the target of a recent cyberattack and, on June 19, 2023 and June 20, 2023, an unauthorized actor was able to access certain files on the company’s network. On November 21, 2023, NSC Technologies sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
