October 27 – The ProMach, Inc. data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C are investigating the data breach that was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cyber security attack. The ProMach data breach resulted in the names, mailing addresses, telephone numbers, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, government-provided identification documentation, and healthcare/health insurance information of certain individuals being compromised.
According to the Attorney General of Massachusetts, ProMach reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. On September 8, 2023, ProMach learned that an unauthorized party may have gained access to its IT systems. The company contained the incident and launched an investigation confirming that the unauthorized party was able to access portions of its computer network containing HR and personnel files. It was later determined that these files stored confidential 
information belonging to employees and their dependents. ProMach sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
