November 19 – The Rightway Healthcare data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C are investigating the data breach that was reported by Davis Polk & Wardell, LLP (“Davis Polk”) after the company was targeted in a recent cyber security attack. The Rightway Healthcare data breach resulted in the names, Social Security numbers and dates of birth of certain individuals being compromised.
According to the Attorney General of Vermont, Rightway Healthcare reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. Rightway provides healthcare concierge services to Davis Polk. On October 19, 2023, Rightway notified Davis Polk about a data security incident that occurred on September 23, 2023. Rightway was able to determine that certain data in Rightway’s care was subject to unauthorized access. Davis Polk requested information about the incident and conducted its own investigation which confirmed that the unauthorized party was able to access confidential information related to Davis Polk’s Human Resources Department. On November 13, 2023, Rightway Healthcare sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was 
affected by the breach.
