According to the Attorney General of California, Rusnak Auto Group reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. Rusnak recently learned of a possible data security incident. The company secured its systems and launched an investigation confirming that there was unauthorized access to its network between June 13, 2023, and June 16, 2023. It was later determined that some of the files that were subject to unauthorized access contained confidential consumer information. On November 16, 2023, Rusnak Auto Group sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
