November 1 – The SBM Management Services, LP. (“SBM”) data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C are investigating the data breach that was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cyber security attack. The SBM Management Services data breach resulted in the sensitive information of certain individuals being compromised.
According to the Attorney General of Montana, SBM Management Services reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. On or around June 28, 2023, SBM experienced a network disruption impacting portions of its IT network. The company launched an investigation confirming that certain information stored on its computer network may have been accessed by an unauthorized party. SBM also determined that some of the files that were accessible to the unauthorized party contained confidential consumer information. On October 27, 2023, 
SBM Management Services sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
