November 22 – The Southland Integrated Services (“SIS”) data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C are investigating the data breach that was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cyber security attack. The Southland Integrated Services data breach resulted in the names, addresses, dates of birth, vaccination status, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, and financial account information of certain individuals being compromised.
According to the Attorney General of California, Southland Integrated Services reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. On October 18, 2023, SIS detected suspicious activity within its computer network. The company secured its systems and launched an investigation that confirmed that an unauthorized party was able to access its IT network between October 16, 2023 and October 18, 2023. SIS also confirmed that the unauthorized party had access to files containing confidential patient information. On November 10, 2023, Southland Integrated Services sent out data breach letters to those 
individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
