November 20 – The Southwest Behavioral Health Center data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C are investigating the data breach that was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cyber security attack. The Southwest Behavioral Health Center data breach resulted in the sensitive information of certain individuals being compromised. It is believed to have impacted as many as 17,147 individuals.

What Happened?

According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights, Southwest Behavioral Health Center reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. The breach involved a “Hacking / IT Incident” that targeted a network server of the company. After learning that sensitive consumer data was accessible to an unauthorized party, Southwest Behavioral Health Center launched an investigation and reviewed the compromised files to determine what information was leaked and which consumers were impacted. On November 13, 2023, Southwest Behavioral Health Center sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
