October 17 – The Taylored Services Parent Co. According to the Attorney General of California, Taylored Services reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. On September 17, 2023, Taylored learned that it was the target of a cyberattack. The company contained the incident and then launched an investigation into the incident. Initially, the investigation did not suggest that an unauthorized party was able to access or remove any data from the company’s IT network. However, on October 1, 2023, Taylored was informed that a threat actor may have gained access to files containing confidential information pertaining to current and former employees. On October 14, 2023, Taylored Services sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
