November 12 – The Tri-City Medical Center data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C are investigating the data breach that was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cyber security attack. At this time, it is unclear what information was compromised.
According to an article by Databreaches.net, Tri-City Medical Center reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. The company diverted ambulance traffic to other hospitals as it handled the cyber security attack. The incident impacted the facility’s ability to handle emergency cases. The hospital said the incident “is similar to situations that have impacted other health care providers across the country.” Tri-City Medical Center acknowledged the breach but has not yet 
confirmed if patient data was leaked. If confirmed, then they will be required to send out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
