October 21 – The Trust Benefit Technologies, LLC data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C are investigating the data breach that was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cyber security attack. The Trust Benefit Technologies data breach resulted in the names, Social Security numbers and dates of birth of certain individuals being compromised. It is believed to have impacted as many as 2,989 individuals.
According to the Attorney General of California, Trust Benefit Technologies reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. On May 22, 2023, TBT detected suspicious activity within its computer system. The company secured its systems and then launched an investigation which revealed that an unauthorized actor was able to access the company’s IT 
network between May 16, 2023 and May 22, 2023. On October 19, 2023, Trust Benefit Technologies sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
Trust Benefit Technologies, LLC is a software company based out of Glendora, California that designs, develops and provides support for Taft-Hartley software for use by the multiemployer benefits industry.
