On November 24, 2023, the company identified a security threat related to suspicious activity within its IT network. Eastern Radiologists secured its systems and launched an investigation. On January 26, 2024, it was confirmed that an unauthorized party had gained access to its network between November 20, 2023 and November 24, 2023. It was also determined that the unauthorized party was able to access confidential information belonging to certain patients. On February 29, 2024, Eastern Radiologists sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
