By November 28th, 2023, the company was able to determine that the breach had stolen information. On January 19th, First Financial Security data breach letters went out to affected consumers to inform them of their stolen data and offer identity protection services.

Additionally, Financial Security has more than 75 employees and generates an annual revenue of around $23 million.
