July 6 – The Imagine360, LLC data breach lawyers at Console & Associates, P.C are investigating the data breach that was reported after the company was targeted in a recent cyber security attack. The Imagine360 data breach resulted in the names, Social Security numbers, medical information and insurance information of certain individuals being compromised. It is believed to have impacted as many as 112,611 individuals.
According to the Attorney General of Maine, Imagine360, LLC reported a data breach after they were targeted in a recent cyber security attack. On or around January 20, 2023, Imagine360 detected suspicious activity within a third-party file-sharing program called Citrix. The company secured its systems and launched an investigation. During this investigation, on February 3, 2023, Fortra notified Imagine360 of another data security incident involving Fortra’s file-sharing service, GoAnywhere. According to Fortra, an unauthorized party copied data maintained on the platform belonging to Imagine360.
Imagine360, through its investigations, was able to confirm that both cyber security events resulted in unauthorized access between January 28, 2023 and January 30, 2023. On June 30, 2023, Imagine360 sent out data breach letters to those individuals whose information was affected by the breach.
